
Dr. Shirley Redd & Judge Edward Redd Longtime homeowners on Martha’s Vineyard since 1978, Dr. Shirley Redd and Judge Edward Redd are pillars of the island’s historic Black community. Edward is an active member of the Polar Bears, while Shirley is a longstanding Cottager of 30 years. Together, they’ve raised three daughters and enjoy the joy of three grandchildren. As they continue to pass on the legacy, they are proudly helping to Ink the Future for generations to come.

Kahina Van Dyke is a globally recognized fintech executive whose career spans leadership roles at Facebook, Citibank, Mastercard, Ripple, and Standard Chartered Bank. She owns three historic inns in Oak Bluffs—Narragansett House, Dunmere-by-the-Sea, and Inkwell Beach House—where she curates spaces that celebrate Black legacy, creativity, and community.
Tonya Waller Primus is a Howard-educated attorney, founder of Walker & Waller, PLLC, and a champion of real estate and family law. Her legal practice serves clients across Chicago, D.C., and Maryland, where she advocates for ownership, equity, and justice.
Together, these women represent the spirit of The Ink Is Ours—preserving history, celebrating culture, and inking the future.
